Wilson General Contracting Inc (“we,” “us,” or “Wilson General Contracting”) operates wilsongeneral-contracting.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information you give us
We only collect information you choose to send us. That happens in two places:
- Estimate requests. When you submit our estimate form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the project details you describe.
- Chat assistant. If you use the chat assistant on this site, we receive the messages you type and any contact details you provide so we can follow up on your project.
Please do not send sensitive personal information — Social Security numbers, bank or payment card details, or health information — through this website or the chat assistant. We do not need it to quote a project, and our assistant is built to decline requests for it.
About the chat assistant
Our chat assistant is an automated tool, not a person. It is powered by a third-party artificial-intelligence service that processes your messages in order to generate replies. It can answer questions about our services and gather details about your project, but it cannot quote prices, commit to a schedule, or give code, permitting, structural, or engineering advice. Anything it tells you is general information, not a bid or a professional opinion.
Before the assistant forwards a conversation to our office, an automated privacy filter removes identifying details such as phone numbers, email addresses, and government identification numbers from the message text. Contact details you deliberately provide are passed along separately so that we can reach you.
You are never required to use the assistant. You can reach us directly at (925) 915-1606 or by requesting an estimate.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical information when you visit — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps — to keep the site running, secure, and reasonably fast. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell this information.
How we use your information
- To respond to your estimate request or question
- To prepare and discuss a proposal for your project
- To communicate with you about work we are performing
- To keep our website secure and working correctly
- To meet our legal, tax, and licensing obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — website hosting, email delivery, the artificial-intelligence provider that powers our chat assistant, and the customer-relationship software we use to track project enquiries. These providers may only use the information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
On a construction project we may share relevant project information with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, or permitting authorities as needed to perform the work.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, contractual, warranty, tax, and licensing obligations. California law requires contractors to retain certain project records, so files connected to work we performed are kept longer than a simple enquiry that never became a project.
Your choices
You may ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. California residents may also ask how we have used and disclosed their personal information. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to enquiry information to the people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This is a commercial construction website intended for business use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
