Stress-Free Auto Care — Bay Area, CA

Interior construction and renovation for a Stress-Free Auto Care service center in the Bay Area, California. Unlike a traditional retail tenant improvement, an automotive facility has to be built around the operational demands of a service business: vehicles moving through, equipment loads, and a customer area that stays clean while the shop works behind it. The scope included interior framing and finishes, electrical and lighting improvements, mechanical and plumbing coordination, and improvements to the service area itself.

Wilson General Contracting coordinated the trades and construction activities to deliver a professional facility organized around the workflow of a modern auto-care center, from the customer lounge and service desk through to the bays. Wilson self-performs electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall and demolition, which matters on a renovation like this where the building stays partly in use. For automotive, service-center and light-industrial renovations in the Bay Area and the Central Valley, this project shows the range of commercial work beyond retail and restaurants.
